Pre-Recorded Online Course – Creating a Influencer Youtube Channel and How Video Editing Is Done Right – 6 Week Class

Pre-Recorded Online Course – allows your learners to watch the pre-recorded videos and do them at a time that is FUN for them! You can also spend extra time on the topics your child is most interested in. Since this is a flex class with no live meetings, students can log in at a convenient time to complete the week’s lesson. We will be going through each week as a group and I will post the lesson weekly (depending on which day you started).

The videos will contain the information required to give students a good understanding of each topic and each one will include homework for the students to undertake during the week. Homework assignments will include writing a list of topics, interests and areas of expertise in which the students might be interested in developing a Youtube channel. There will also be research assignments into how to choose a channel name, the importance of images and videos, and all the details needed to make a great channel.

After watching each video and completing the homework assignments, students will be provided with feedback and the specific next steps to make their channel vision a reality including how to make and edit the videos. They will then review each others videos and make suggestions for each other. They will asked to play a video creation game tobsee who can make the funniest video and score each other to see whos was most funny. That means lots of interaction between me the teacher and learners between themselves after each class to get the homework assignments completed correctly.

Timeframe for the Week:
Mondays – Teacher will post the information needed for the week.
Tuesdays-Wednesday – The teacher can answer any questions pertaining to the topic of the week. The students will need to complete any homework assignments and answer any questions in the class.
Thursday – Students need to have all tasks completed and uploaded in the classroom.
Friday – The teacher will provide feedback to the class and individual students, students will also be able to engage in peer to peer review and be able to discuss how they went about completing the tasks.
Saturday – Sunday – Teacher will be available to answer any questions that the students may have for the week or the next week.

Enhance and build YouTube channel by developing skills and a winning mentality. Learn how to build a subscriber base and what makes a channel successful. Through YouTube, learners can find a more productive use of their time than playing video games or spending hours scrolling through social media.

Topics in session 1 will include:
-Instructions to open your channel
-understanding the equipment needed to make the best videos

Topics in session 2 will include:
-planning of your channel to make it great
-how to create catchy videos

In session 3 + 4 we will talk about how to make money and financial stability. This will include:
-building your subscriber base
-how the current stars became successful
-networking with like minded creators

Topics in session 5 will include:
-video editing

Topics in session 6 will include:
-practicing internet safety
-how to make money from Youtube

Learners will learn skills that last a lifetime!
